Some bathrooms calm you. Some wow you. And some, like this one by XBathrooms, manage to do both—blending serene natural finishes with bold visual detail in a way that feels confidently contemporary yet deeply grounded.
This bathroom balances soft natural tones, tactile materials, and subtly sculptural forms; with enough contrast and intrigue to break away from “just another neutral bathroom.” This space plays with curved lines, a layered palette, and hero materials that all work in quiet harmony while leaving a strong impression.
The Foundation: Warm Light, Calming Stone
From the moment you step into this bathroom, you’re met with a visual rhythm of rounded forms and warm light. A long double vanity—clad in ribbed timber with soft-edge detailing—anchors the room with a sense of natural ease. Floating above creamy stone-look floor tiles, the vanity almost levitates, illuminated from beneath with a soft glow that highlights the gentle veining underfoot.
On the walls, the neutral tones continue with Bora Snow tiles. These soft, stone-look panels offer a clean, cohesive base that allows the brass tapware, sculptural basins, and lush greenery to pop without overwhelming the space. They’re laid floor-to-ceiling, creating seamless expanses that make the entire room feel light, airy, and expansive.
But it’s what happens at the far end of the room that steals the show.

A Show-Stopping Half Wall
In the shower and wet area, XBathrooms have introduced an arresting feature tile that elevates the entire palette — Ming Green Arch Mosaics. These scalloped marble tiles curve in soft fan shapes across the upper wall, their pale green hues shifting from mint to sage to emerald.
It’s a tile that brings movement and personality, especially when set against the clean-lined, oversized Bora Snow tiles below. More than just a decorative touch, this arched tile detail becomes a defining element of the room’s identity; organic, elegant, and unexpected.
And it’s not just confined to the shower. You’ll spot the same colour echoed subtly in the room’s styling, most notably in the marble pedestal side table beside the freestanding tub, which brings in a rich green stone finish that mirrors the wall tile’s palette and texture.
Bathing Beauty: Sculptural Forms and Echoes of Art Deco
To the other side, the tub takes on sculptural status. With soft vertical fluting that mimics the curves of the vanity’s timber detail and the wall tiles’ scalloped patterning, the freestanding bath feels like a modern-day Roman relic—both indulgent and perfectly minimal.
It’s set against a wide bay-style window, where golden frames and frosted panels filter light beautifully throughout the day. The entire composition—the bath, the bay window, the layered curves and brassy tones—creates a moment of pause. A place to slow down. To soak, literally and visually, in a space that feels curated without being contrived.
