Product Guarantee

This guarantee is in addition to, and does not replace, any rights and remedies available to consumers under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (as well as any relevant State and Territory laws) and is subject to the following terms and conditions:

TERMS

Tiles must be installed following the manufacturer’s guidelines and/or AS3958 (2007) "Guide to the Installation of Ceramic Tiles." This guarantee does not cover any failure resulting from improper application of substrate materials, adhesives, or installation that does not comply with manufacturer instructions or AS3958 (2007). Additionally, if it cannot be demonstrated that all materials used were suitable for the intended purpose, this guarantee may not apply.

We recommend purchasing an additional 5%-15% of tiles to account for any damage during or after installation. The Tile Collective cannot guarantee the availability of identical replacement tiles in the future. Once tiles have been installed, we do not accept liability for issues related to colour matching or blending. Tiles with visible defects should not be installed. The Tile Collective will replace such tiles, subject to availability. Displays, sample boards, and tiles serve only as a general indication of colour and shade; variations may occur between batches.

Ceramic and porcelain tiles may become slippery when wet. The Tile Collective does not accept liability for accidents caused by improper tile selection, lack of maintenance, or general carelessness.

Regular cleaning and proper maintenance are essential. Failure to follow appropriate care guidelines may void this guarantee. Please refer back to The Tile Collective’s Care + Maintenance Guide.

All first-quality tiles supplied by The Tile Collective are guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects. If a claim is made under this guarantee, The Tile Collective reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to either replace or repair the product, supply an equivalent product, or reimburse the cost of replacement, repair, or an equivalent alternative.
